Why NauticDeck?
We have worked in the marine industry since 2008 — boats are not just our business, they are our passion. Since 2022 we have been manufacturing EVA foam decking that boat owners choose instead of traditional teak. Not because it is cheaper — but because it is better.
EVA foam with the right hardness and resistance to damage
Not all EVA foam is the same. Ours has exactly the right density — soft enough to be comfortable underfoot, hard enough to survive years of heavy use. Its closed-cell structure means the foam does not absorb water, does not rot and does not lose its properties over the season — or the ones after it.
Surface preparation chemistry, dedicated 3M primer and 3M 9775WL adhesive developed for GRP.
UV filter guaranteed for at least 3,000 hours of sun exposure.
Warm water and soap. Absorbs no oil, no fuel, no liquids at all.
Dry and soaking wet alike. Safety for the whole crew.
Benefits of an EVA foam deck
Safe — 100% non-slip
Wet or dry, it makes no difference. Sure grip in any conditions.
Waterproof and light
Absorbs nothing — water, oil, petrol or diesel. 5x lighter than natural teak.
Comfortable barefoot
The right hardness cushions every step and reduces fatigue on long passages.
UV resistant, stays cool
UV filter rated 3,000h+. Unlike synthetic teak, it will not burn your feet in the sun.
Digital measurement — the foundation of a perfect fit
Every deck starts with a precise digital measurement of your boat. From it we build an exact digital template — every hatch, every corner, every detail mapped to the millimetre.
Why we do not use ready-made templates. Even two boats of the same model differ in the details — fitting positions, edge finish, marks left by a previous deck. Only an individual measurement guarantees a fit to the millimetre.
Ordering from outside Poland? Get in touch and we will agree how to take the measurements for your boat before you commit to anything.
Want a rough figure first? Measure the deck sections with a tape (length × width), add up the area and multiply by the price per m² from the price list.
Precision CNC cutting — a perfect fit, guaranteed
Every deck section is cut on large-format CNC machines. The result? Panels that fit exactly — to the millimetre, with no trimming on site.
Routed patterns come out perfectly even and clean, and the edge of every panel is smooth and precise. It is a difference you can see and feel underfoot.
We run our own production hall with large-format CNC machines — from tenders to yachts over 40 feet. We keep 600 m² of foam permanently in stock, which keeps lead times short.
Your deck, your style — fully personalised
Over 20 colours, any routing pattern you like and the option to put your own logo on the deck.
We match the colours to your boat — from classic teak-look browns to modern greys. 12 colours in stock, over 30 more to order.
A logo or lettering is routed at no extra charge.

Before you choose synthetic teak, read this
Synthetic teak looks impressive in photos, but: it burns bare feet in the sun, it is slippery when wet, fitting requires a vacuum pump, and if it gets damaged, replacing a single panel is all but impossible. With EVA foam every panel is independent and easy to replace.
We build on the original 3M bonding system
3M is the world leader in bonding technology — a brand trusted by shipyards and by the aerospace and automotive industries worldwide. We do not use substitutes or cheaper equivalents. Our decks are built with the complete, original 3M system: professional surface preparation chemistry, a dedicated 3M primer and 3M 9775WL adhesive developed specifically for GRP. That is your guarantee the foam deck will never lift on its own.
How to order your deck: 4 simple steps
We guide you through the whole process — from measurement to a finished deck on your boat
1. Digital measurement
We agree how your boat is measured — and turn the precise digital measurement into a design ready for routing.
2. Design and colour choice
You receive a visualisation of the deck in the colours and routing patterns you picked. Add a logo, artwork, or choose from over 20 colours. You approve it — we start production.
3. CNC production
We cut the deck on large-format CNC machines. Every panel fits your boat exactly. 3M 9775WL adhesive is applied at the factory — ready to fit.
4. Fitting — yourself or with us
Fit the deck yourself — we supply the instructions and the 3M preparation chemistry and primer — or have us do it. Full support at every stage.
What our customers say
Over 6,000 m² of decking and hundreds of satisfied boat owners
“Second season with a NauticDeck deck on my motorboat. Nothing lifting, no stains, still looks new. The 3M adhesive holds brilliantly — even where people walk in shoes all day.”
“I was looking for an alternative to teak that had to be oiled every year. I fitted the NauticDeck deck myself over a weekend — the fit was perfect, and my wife says the boat looks like it just came out of the showroom.”
“I run a boat service business and NauticDeck is the only company I work with on EVA decking. The quality of the foam and the 3M adhesive is the best on the market — and my customers come back happy season after season.”

-
How much does an EVA foam deck for my boat cost?
The price depends on the deck area. As a guide: design from 499 PLN, EVA foam deck from 799 PLN/m², fitting from 299 PLN/m². You can work out a rough figure yourself — measure the individual deck sections with a tape (length × width), add up the area and multiply by the price per m². We prepare an exact quote after the digital measurement. Important: with us you pay only for the foam actually used — offcuts from the sheets are not charged. Many companies price by the number of sheets consumed, which means you also pay for the waste.
-
What is the minimum order?
We take on designs and orders from 1 m² upwards. It makes no difference whether you need a deck for a small tender or a yacht over 40 feet — every order gets the same care.
-
Why is your price lower than the competition?
Because we charge for the foam actually used, not for whole sheets. We cut the foam on CNC machines, so we know exactly how much material went into your deck. Offcuts are not charged. Many companies price by the number of sheets consumed — which means you also pay for the scraps that end up in the bin. Not here.
-
Is cheap EVA foam from online marketplaces the same thing?
Definitely not. Cheap EVA foam sheets with ready-made simple routing differ from our product in practically every respect. The foam — lower density, less abrasion resistant, fades faster and deforms under UV and heat. The adhesive — a cheap industrial tape that starts letting go after the first season in marine conditions (damp, salt, heat). The routing — simple repeating factory patterns, with no fit to your boat. At NauticDeck we use foam with the right hardness, the complete 3M bonding system with 9775WL adhesive, and we cut every panel on CNC to your boat exactly. It is the difference between a tailored suit and something off a market stall.
-
What makes NauticDeck different from the competition?
Three key differences: 1) We use EVA foam with the right hardness — not too soft (it would wear out), not too hard (comfort underfoot). 2) We work with the complete 3M bonding system: surface preparation chemistry, a dedicated 3M primer and 3M 9775WL adhesive developed specifically for GRP. Most competitors use cheaper substitutes. 3) Precision CNC cutting with a perfect fit to your boat.
-
Which adhesive do you use, and why 3M?
We use 3M 9775WL — an adhesive developed for bonding to GRP surfaces, which is exactly what your boat deck is made of. On top of that we work with the complete 3M system: first the chemistry to clean and prepare the surface, then the dedicated 3M primer, and only then the bonding. This three-stage process guarantees a lasting bond even in extreme marine conditions.
-
Is a foam deck resistant to stains and dirt?
Yes. EVA foam has a closed-cell structure, which means it does not absorb water, oil, petrol or any other liquid. Cleaning takes a few minutes — warm water and soap, or our dedicated EVA deck cleaner, is enough to make the deck look new again.
-
Will strong sun damage or fade the foam?
Our foam has a built-in UV filter guaranteed for at least 3,000 hours of sun exposure. That means resistance to fading and degradation through many seasons of heavy use. Unlike synthetic teak, EVA foam does not get excessively hot even in full sun.
-
Will the foam start lifting after a while?
No — provided it is fitted correctly. That is why we work with the complete 3M bonding system (surface preparation + primer + 9775WL adhesive). A deck fitted according to our procedure does not lift. We guarantee that. Before it reaches us, the foam passes quality control to the highest ISO standards.
-
Can you slip on the foam with wet feet?
Absolutely not. EVA foam is 100% non-slip both dry and soaking wet. This is one of its main advantages over natural teak, which becomes slippery once wet. Safety for the whole crew is guaranteed.
-
How long does an order take?
From approving the design to dispatching the finished deck usually takes about 2 weeks. We prepare an exact quote once the deck has been measured digitally. The whole process — from first contact through measurement, design and production to a finished deck — normally takes 3-4 weeks, plus shipping time to your country.
-
Can I fit the deck myself?
Yes! We supply the deck with 3M 9775WL adhesive already applied to the underside. Every order comes with detailed fitting instructions — you just need to prepare the surface properly (3M chemistry and primer, which we supply), peel off the protective film and stick the panels down. If you would rather have it fitted professionally, we are happy to do it at our facility in Poland.
-
Which boats does an EVA foam deck suit?
Practically any boat. We make decks for motorboats, sailing yachts, tenders, RIBs, jet skis and other craft. Every project is individual — we match the deck exactly to the dimensions and shape of your boat using CNC technology.
-
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our decks come with a warranty covering the quality of the foam, the durability of the bond and UV resistance. The details are agreed individually. Working with the highest quality materials (premium foam and the complete 3M system), we are confident in how long our products last.
-
Will a ready-made mat bought online fit my boat?
Most likely not. Even two boats of the same model differ in the details: fitting positions, marks left by a previous deck, small differences in finish. Ready-made mats are produced from a single template and do not account for those differences. The result? Gaps, poor alignment and trimming on site. That is why we design every deck individually — from a digital measurement of that specific boat.
